Adam Heidenreich, also known as "Mr. H," is in his 10th year as the music specialist at Level Creek Elementary. This is his 16th year of teaching, all in Gwinnett County Public Schools. He completed his Master's degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia in August 2012. Before that, Mr. Heidenreich received his Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. While at Alabama, he was a member of the "Million Dollar Band," and served as drum major for the 1996 and 1997 football seasons. In addition, Mr. Heidenreich was a clarinetist in the Alabama Wind Ensemble and Contemporary Ensemble, under the late Dr. Gerald Welker, and the Alabama Symphonic Band, under Dr. Ken Ozzello.
Soon after graduating, Mr. Heidenreich began his teaching career at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia. He served as the Assistant Band Director, Winter Guard Director, and drill writer for the Brookwood Bronco Marching Band. Mr. Heidenreich had the opportunity to conduct the Brookwood Symphonic Winds at the 2003 GMEA In-Service Conference held in Savannah, Georgia. Under his direction, the Brookwood Symphonic Band earned straight Superior ratings at the 2003 District 13 Large Group Performance Evaluation.
For the 2003-2004 school year, Mr. Heidenreich was one of two Music Specialists and the Assistant Chorus Director at Cedar Hill Elementary in Lawrenceville. After three years, he transferred to Level Creek Elementary in Suwanee. He is currently their Music Specialist and Chorus Director. During the 2007-2008 school year, Mr. Heidenreich was named Level Creek's "Teacher of the Year." During the 2009-2010 school year, Mr. Heidenreich was nominated for and accepted as a member of the teacher leadership program, Teachers as Leaders (TAL). In 2016, he became part of the Gwinnett County Public School's Aspiring Leader Program (ALP) Cohort 7. Mr. Heidenreich is currently the Grade Level Leader for the Level Creek Special Areas team and one of two lead elementary music teachers for Gwinnett County Public Schools.
In his spare time, Mr. Heidenreich is a part of the educational staff for the Paramount Winter Guard organization. Paramount A was the 2016 WGI Independent A Class Gold Medalist. Previously, he was a technician and consultant with the The Edge Independent, a 2012 and 2015 WGI Independent A Class Finalist. Also, he was the Director of Color Guards at Collins Hill High School (Fall 2005 until Fall 2010), and left the program in the spring of 2013 to pursue other interests. Under his direction, the Collins Hill Winter Guard was a 2010 Winter Guard International (WGI) Scholastic A Class Finalist and a 2011 WGI Scholastic Open Class Finalist - the first color guard in Gwinnett County to earn such an honor. In addition, Mr. Heidenreich is a member of the executive board for the Southern Association for Performance Arts (SAPA) and is an active color guard and visual adjudicator throughout the southeast region.

The consequences if students choose not to follow expectations:
1) Warning (verbal/non-verbal) 2) Warning (verbal/non-verbal) 3) Time-out (grades K - 3) 4) Behavior Notebook/Parent Contact/Conduct Grade Change 5) Removal from music class (this can range from 1 to more music classes, as needed).
